Tile Rendering

Each named tile is drawn with an optional fill, a border, and optional diagonal stripes. Setting the alpha channel to zero switches an element off.

These roles mean the same thing in every color strategy that uses them: whether a tile has been visited at all, is missing, or was marked inaccessible.

Opacity of the color strategies that compute a color from a color map, such as the colorful clusters or the visit count.

Grid lines

The lines drawn between explorer tiles.

Explorer tiles double in on-screen size with every zoom step, so a lower value shows the grid when zoomed further out.
